Every change is let(H)al

Rome, 2012

January 12th, 2012. While Damien Hirst exhibition "The Complete Spot Paintings 1986-2011" is opened in the Gagosian locations all over the world, ZEROZAK writes on a billboard in Rome, where a spot painting appears (entitled "Nucleohistones"), the writing EVERY CHANGE IS LETAL (without H). What's the meaning of that? The answer is in an audio track playing in the background of the video presented one month later, in which the clip of the action is mixed, with a tight cutting, to images of the various openings, reports and interviews to the British artist. In one of these interviews, at the end of the video, Hirst himself declares that the moment has come for some young artist to fuck him off.
